Description

Position: Registered Respiratory Therapist
Facility: Providence Mount Carmel Hospital
Location: 982 E Columbia Ave Colville, WA 99114
Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: 06/01/2026
Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Weekend Req: Yes, Every other

Float: Respiratory Therapist could float to other facility 30 minutes away if need be

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Block Schedules:: Yes
PR: $28 Hour on W2 + $1242/Weekly
Gross Weekly: $2250

Key Responsibilities

Assessing patients with breathing difficulties, asthma, COPD, pneumonia, or other lung diseases
Administering oxygen therapy and aerosol medications
Managing ventilators and life-support equipment in ICUs and emergency rooms
Performing diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis
Monitoring patients during treatment and adjusting respiratory care plans
Assisting physicians during emergencies like cardiac arrest or respiratory failure
Educating patients on breathing treatments, inhaler use, smoking cessation, and home oxygen care
Caring for premature infants or critically ill patients with respiratory complications
Maintaining respiratory equipment and ensuring infection-control standards

Requirements:

1 year(s) Experience

Note: family maternity and OB experience required

Charting System: Required, EPIC

Certification Requirements:

ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT, Washington state license
