Telemetry RN – High Acuity Mixed Unit

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced Telemetry RN for a high-acuity mixed unit in an Acute Care Hospital setting. The RN will provide patient care for complex telemetry and medical-surgical patients while managing rapid response situations and supporting orthopedic/total joint patient populations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for telemetry and high-acuity mixed unit patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to patient condition changes
• Support rapid response situations and emergency interventions
• Care for orthopedic and total joint patients
• Float within scope to support facility staffing needs

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years Telemetry RN experience required
• Strong telemetry experience required
• Experience with 1:6 patient ratios required
• Rapid Response Team experience required
• Total Joint experience required
• Active RN License required

Required Certifications:

• ACLS
• BCLS
• NIHSS

Schedule & Additional Information:

• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope
• No block scheduling allowed
• No local travelers accepted (must live more than 30 miles from facility)
• No RTO allowed during first or last week of assignment
• Must be available for mandatory 5-shift clinical orientation week (36–40 hours first week)

• Holiday work requirements apply during assignment
