Description
A Med/Surg Registered Nurse provides direct patient care to adult patients with a wide range of medical conditions and post-surgical needs. The RN monitors patient conditions, administers medications, collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams, and ensures quality patient care throughout the assignment.
Requirements:
- Active RN License (state-specific or compact license if applicable)
- Minimum 1–2 years of recent Med/Surg experience
- BLS Certification required through American Heart Association
- ACLS Certification preferred for some facilities
- Experience with EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner preferred
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Travel experience preferred for travel assignments (varies by facility)
