Emergency Room (ER) RN – Neuro/Stroke Experience Required

Job Summary:

Seeking an experienced ER RN with strong Neuro/Stroke and Level 1 resuscitation experience to join a fast-paced Acute Care Hospital Emergency Department. The RN will provide emergency patient care, manage high-acuity cases, and support critical patient populations in a dynamic clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency nursing care for acute and critical patients
• Manage neuro/stroke and Level 1 resuscitation cases
• Monitor patient conditions and administer medications/treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during emergency situations
• Float within scope to support facility staffing needs when required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2.5 years of Emergency Department experience required
• Minimum 1 year Neuro/Stroke experience required
• Minimum 2 previous travel assignments required
• Experience with Level 1 resuscitation patients required
• Active RN License required

Required Certifications:

• ACLS
• BCLS
• NIHSS
• PALS
• TNCC preferred

Schedule & Additional Information:

• Start Date: 06/16
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required within scope
• Block scheduling considered case by case
• No local travelers accepted (must live more than 30 miles from facility)
• RTO limited to 10 days and not allowed during first or last week of assignment
