Description

Position Details-:

Day shifts
07:00am to 07:00pm
36 guaranteed hours weekly | 12 hours per day
Types of patients (adults, peds, and neonates?): All- neonates to geriatrics
What areas do they cover (Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, Rehab, Sleep Lab, etc.): Inpatient- covering all areas/floors
Is there a Respiratory Manager/Supervisor/Lead Therapist on each shift?: Lead
RT Equipment (Brand for Vents, Cpap, Bipap, High Flow): Vents: Drager, Servo I, Carefusion (Heliox and Nicu use only); Bipaps: Vision, V60, V30, Respironics S/T; High flow: Airvo2
Weekend Requirements: Days: every third
Holiday Requirements: Rotate with perm staff
Floating Requirements: To different area throughout the hospital in the RT capacity
How many shifts of unit/department specific orientation?: 3-12 hour shifts.

Required-:

Recent Level 1 or 2 trauma experience
Must have EKG, Bedside bronchs, and bedside spirometry skills
Nebraska RCP License
RRT or CRT from NBRC
BLS
ACLS
PALS and NRP (preferred)

Level 1 Trauma Center EPIC Charting system
