Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in a fast-paced acute care setting. This role is ideal for nurses who are confident managing moderate to high-acuity patients and have strong cardiac and critical care skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care for PCU/step-down patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry
- Administer medications, including IV drips and titratable medications
- Perform detailed patient assessments and respond to condition changes
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems
- Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards
