The Rad Tech will perform diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring high-quality patient care, safety, and compliance with facility protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain processes to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Operate radiologic imaging equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure proper positioning of patients to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Maintain radiation safety standards for patients, staff, and self.
• Review images for quality assurance and accuracy prior to submission.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff to support patient care.
• Follow infection control, HIPAA, and facility compliance standards.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and report any operational issues promptly.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification required.
• Active state Radiologic Technologist license/certification as applicable.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent radiology experience preferred.
• Experience in hospital or emergency care settings preferred.
• Strong communication and patient care skills.
