Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or BS Pharmacy degree
- Active LA Pharmacist License
BLS or ACLS required
Operational Duties
- Review, verify, and dispense medication orders
- Interpret physician orders accurately
- Maintain complete patient medication records
- Compound:
- Sterile products
- Non-sterile products
- Chemotherapy medications
- Parenteral nutrition (TPN)
- Manage controlled substances per policy and law
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
- Participate in staff meetings and competency assessments
