50 mile radius rule - ALL SUBMISSIONS MUST INCLUDE A COPY OF CANDIDATE'S UNEXPIRED DRIVER'S LICENSE LICENSING HITS MUST BE DISCLOSED AT TIME OF SUBMISSION # of beds: 30 Ratios: 1:6/7 *Ratio will get up to 1:7, RN must be ok with this.* Required Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Common diagnoses/types of patients: CHF, COPD, cellulitis, R/O, chole, appe, pneumonia, urosepsis, AKI Charge Nurse? One charge RN on the floor, with assignment Are there nurse aides on this unit: Yes, PCTs on the unit Are RNs required to Titrate drips? heparin based on aptt results RT equipment (vents, cpap, bipap, etc): No vent, intermittent BIPAP Is there tele on this unit? Yes, watched remotely by monitor techs Shifts and Scheduling: transitioning to Qgenda Weekends and Holidays: Scheduled as needed, usually 1/2 the total weekends Is there a standby or call requirement? No Floating Requirements: As needed based on census, external traveler first to float Scrub Color: Navy Blue
