Patient Ratios: Up to 1:6 with PCA assistance
Electronic Health Record (EHR) System: MediTech
Patient Population: All ages
Common Diagnoses/Treatments: COPD, post-op joint care, diabetic population

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky
• Minimum 1 year of Medical-Surgical nursing experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Healthcare Worker Certification (HWC)

Job Details

• Float requirements: May be required to float to like units as needed
• Orientation: Weekly on Mondays
• Dress Code: Any scrub color allowed; branded attire from other facilities is not acceptable

• Facility is a 107-bed, all-private room, Joint Commission-accredited acute care hospital
• Serves as the sole acute care provider in the region
• Offers a wide variety of inpatient and outpatient services including birthing center, wound care, and accredited chest pain center

Note: Candidates must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to be considered for this travel position.
