Description
Cardiac experience is preferred (not required): CABG/TAVR 24 to 48 hrs post op experience is preferred but not required for travelers
Will not take fresh open hearts unless they are experienced, and the facility felt comfortable with this given to permanent staff
Patient Ratios:
RN: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 (rare) acuity dependent
Required Certifications:
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
TNCC (REQUIRED) please decline travelers that would not be willing to obtain this certification prior to arrival
Required Education:
Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing
Skills required:
Epic experience
Comfortability working a 48hr/week contract this is not negotiable for this unit
