ICU - Intensive Care Unit

REGISTERED NURSE- ICU What You Bring to the Team:<ul><li>Minimum of 2 years of ICU/CCU nursing experience</li><li>Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response</li><li>Expertise in managing multi-system organ failure, renal failure, and complex ventilator support</li><li>Strong IV therapy skills including arterial lines, PICC lines, and blood product administration</li><li>Ability to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips for critical patient stabilization</li><li>Competence in thoracic procedures such as chest tube insertion/removal and ventilator management</li><li>Familiarity with infection prevention protocols and PPE use</li><li>Effective communication and teamwork skills in fast-paced environments</li></ul>Additional Skills That Set You Apart:<ul><li>Experience with Cerner charting system</li><li>Knowledge of surgical wounds, wound vacs, and isolation precautions</li><li>Ability to assist with advanced respiratory therapies like BiPAP and CPAP</li></ul>Requirements:<ul><li>Active Illinois RN license</li><li>At least 18 months of experience in a critical care setting</li><li>Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIH required</li><li>Cardiac monitoring and emergency response training</li></ul>
