Job Title: Registered Nurse - MedSurg / Telemetry (Nights) Location: West Burlington, IA Facility: Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center - West Burlington Campus Shift: 12-Hour Nights | 36 Hours/Week (Overtime Potential Available) Duration: 13 Weeks
Job Overview
Join a dedicated healthcare team in West Burlington, IA! We are seeking an experienced and adaptable MedSurg/Tele Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift contract. This role requires high-quality patient care across adult and geriatric populations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Highlights & Critical Requirements
- Telemetry Competency Exam: Travelers are responsible for self-studying telemetry strips prior to arrival. A basic dysrhythmia test-out will be given during your first week. Passing this exam is required to continue the assignment.
- EMR: Cerner experience is strictly required.
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required.
- Call Requirements: No regular call rotation, but must be available for occasional low-census call. Must maintain a 1-hour response/arrival radius when on call.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- Proven experience in both Medical-Surgical and Telemetry settings.
- Strong competency in tracking and interpreting telemetry strips.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.
