Description
- Position: MLT or MLS
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Shift Schedule: Friday through Sunday
- Three 12-hour shifts
- 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Experience Required:
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Travel experience preferred
- EMR System:
- EPIC (recent experience/proficiency required)
- Education Requirement:
- Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology
- Accepted Certifications:
- ASCP MLT or MLS
- AMT Certification also accepted
- Laboratory Overview:
- The East Clinical Laboratory provides comprehensive, time-sensitive laboratory services.
- Serves patients with a variety of diagnoses and admission/discharge criteria.
- Testing & Services Performed:
- Chemistry
- Immunochemistry
- Coagulation
- Hematology
- Urinalysis
- Various manual testing
- Rapid COVID testing
- Rapid Influenza testing
- Manual body fluid and CSF cell counts/differentials
- Transfusion Services
- Central Processing
- Additional Information:
- Provides training for new staff and medical technology students
- Laboratory operates 24/7 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week)
