Post Partum - RN
Shift D/N
WILLING ACCEPT LOCALS WITHIN 50 MILES - DM for Local rate.
Our Clinical IVS team will conduct an interview
Job Description:
Unit: 5N Postpartum
Shift: D/N
Floating Required: No
Must have acute care experience.
Must work every other weekend.
Must work every other major holiday.
Scrub Color: Scrubs are provided.
Orientation: Hospital system wide orientation 3 days; 3 days on unit.
On-Call Requirements: Not required; they do call for volunteers to cover vacant shifts, if needed.
Unit Specifics:
Common patient diagnosis: Post vaginal delivery; post c-section delivery; intermittent post-partum magnesium or postpartum hemorrhage
Required Drips & Medications: IV antibiotics; IV magnesium intermittently, PRBC; rhogam, lovenox
Specialty Equipment: Welch Allyn blood pressure; Nihon Khoden; venodynm machine; IV pump; panda warmer; Medela Breast pump
Patients: Newborn
Number of Beds in the Unit: 13 Postpartum and 4 Continuing Care Nursery
Submission Requirements:
Up to date resume that includes 1+ year(s) of experience in Postpartum. Travel experience preferred; willing to accept first time travelers.
2 recent Charge RN/Manager/Supervisor references matching specialty
Skills Checklist matching specialty
Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics
Current AHA BLS & NRP required. Lactation certification preferred.
NURSYS Verification Report with ACTIVE current or conditional Massachusetts RN license (past or present) pulled within the last 7 days
RTO must be included at time of submission; it will not be guaranteed after confirmation. (Max 5 allowed)
EMR Exp Preferred: EPIC

I currently have been a traveler nurse for over 5 years. This is my far my favorite traveler experience. Onboarding is very easy. Jane and other communicate well. This was an issue in the beginning of my assignment but Jane quickly and nicely happen the issue. I will definitely do an assignment with this place again.
