Travel RN – Endoscopy (Day Shift) | Augusta, GA | 13 Weeks

We’re hiring an experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Augusta, GA. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-functioning Endo Lab with advanced procedures and strong interdisciplinary support.
💼 Job Highlights
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Shift: Days (36 hrs/week)
- 2 × 10-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)
- 2 × 8-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 3:00 PM)
- On-Call: Yes
- 1–2 weekday calls/week
- 2–3 weekends per contract
- Patient Ratio: 1:2
- Charting: Epic
- Scrub Color: Navy Blue
- Locals Accepted: Yes (same rate)
🏥 Unit Details
- Unit: Endoscopy Lab
- Rooms: 3
- Beds: 11
- Daily Census: ~20 patients
- Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
- Support Teams: IV Team, Pharmacy, Radiology, Rapid Response, Transport, Phlebotomy
🩺 Key Responsibilities
- Assist with and monitor conscious sedation
- Provide care during advanced endoscopic procedures
- Circulate (scrub preferred but not required)
- Ensure patient safety and monitoring throughout procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic
🔬 Required Experience & Skills
✅ Minimum 1 year Endoscopy RN experience
✅ERCP experience REQUIRED (including SpyGlass)
✅ Experience with:
- Bronchoscopy
- EBUS
- Colonoscopy
- EGD
- ION Procedures
📜 Certifications
- BLS (Required)
- ACLS (Required)
📅 Scheduling & Requirements
- Call Required: Yes
- Weekend Requirement: 2–3 weekends per contract
- RTO: Max 7 days (1 request allowed)
- Holiday Commitment: Required based on contract duration
- Compliance: Must be completed prior to start (strict onboarding timeline)
