Pride Health is seeking a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Lake Oswego, OR 97035. This is a 13-week contract with potential for extension. Both local and travel candidates are welcome to apply.

Job Responsibilities:

• Administer the physical therapy treatment plan as developed by the Physical Therapist
• Administer non-complex active and passive manual therapeutic exercises, therapeutic massage, traction, heat, light, cold, water, and electrical modalities to patients
• Accurately document client status with daily, weekly, or monthly records and submit clinical paperwork on time
• Attend educational meetings and contribute to department in-services
• Notify physical therapist or management of any equipment failures, supply shortages, staff or client changes
• Schedule clients and perform varied office tasks
• Apply infection control and universal precautions in patient care activities
• Accept clinical assignments consistent with education and competence
• Promote compliance with fiscal intermediaries and third-party payors through education and coaching
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

Required Qualifications:

• 2+ years of PTA experience with Home Health required.
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program with an associate degree
• Current OR state license to practice as a Physical Therapy Assistant
• Current BLS certification
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and insurance
• HCHB, Oasis required.
• Ability to work independently and cooperatively as part of a team

Additional Information:

• Location: Lake Oswego, OR 97035
• Schedule: 40 hours/week
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Gross weekly: $2,020.00
• W2 hourly (Taxable): $23.50
• Stipend Weekly (Non - Taxable): $1080.00= ($680+ $400)
• Local Pay rate: $38-$41/hr. On W2

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
