PACU RN – PRN Opportunity
Location: Woodland Hills, CA
Start Date: 6/8/2026
Employment Type: PRN Contract
Schedule: Variable Shifts | 10-hour shifts preferred
We are seeking experienced PACU Registered Nurses for an ongoing PRN opportunity. This is a flexible PRN position with pre-booked scheduling and ongoing contract stability.
Position Details
- PRN ongoing contract opportunity
- Shifts scheduled in advance similar to traveler scheduling
- Facility may cancel shifts with at least 2 hours' notice
- Candidates must provide full monthly availability
- More than one shift/week expected
- Friday availability preferred
- No weekend requirement
- No call requirement
Patient Population / Case Types
- PACU recovery patients
- Cataracts
- General Surgery
- Plastics
- ENT
- Total Joint / Orthopedic patients
Requirements
- Active California RN License required
- Minimum 2 years RN experience required
- Minimum 1-year PACU experience required
- Adult PACU experience required
- Pediatric PACU experience preferred but not required
- Must be comfortable recovering surgical patients across multiple specialties
- Travel experience preferred but not required
Certifications Required
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
Additional Information
- Float required within scope as needed
- COVID vaccine not required
Compensation
- $82/hr. regular rate
- $123/hr. overtime rate
- Estimated gross weekly pay based on 10-hour shift: $902

- 286-bed facility
- EMR: Epic (Kaiser-specific Epic system)
- Scrub colors: Royal Blue or Navy Blue
- PPE fully provided
- Parking available onsite
- Pay cycle: Sunday–Saturday
