Description
Required experience and certifications/ license:
- 2 years of recent Cath RN experience in a hospital setting outside of clinicals
- Cardiac, STEMI, Afib Ablation, Device placement, Vascular needs
- Heavy Vascular– any lower extremity angiogram, occasional upper/fistulagram, interventional cases, PE, DVT, thrombolytics, venograms, fistula creation, carotid angiogram with stent, EVAR, TAVR, femoral/brachial/pedal access
- right and left heart Cath with intervention, complex PCI, pericardiocentesis, etc. – mostly radial but some femoral.
- Circulate and monitor
- function independently in cases, experience in a blended lab (Cath/EP/Vascular), strong IV skills, EPIC experience, sterile technique, ability and willingness to take call, able to titrate medications – to include pressors, cardiac rhythm interpretation, knowledge of how to respond to codes.
- RN Compact license or NC state license
- ACLS/BLS (AHA)
