Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for an acute care setting in Nyack, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment and treatment skills, experience working with diverse patient populations, and the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records using EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and families regarding therapy plans and progress.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and professional standards.
