Description
RN – ER/Medsurg Swing | Travel Assignment
Location: Breckenridge, MN
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day/Night Rotate | 12-Hour Shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours/Week
Care Setting: Acute Care
Unit: ER / MedSurg Swing RN
Trauma Level: IV Critical Access Hospital
Charting System: PointClickCare (PCC)
Unit Details
- 4 ER Beds and 2 Trauma Bays
- Average ER Census: 10 Patients/Day
- Trauma Level IV
- STEMI Receiving & Stroke Designated Facility
- ER Holds intermixed within ER
- Separate Psych/Seclusion Rooms Available
- Charge Nurse takes patient assignments
- Floating required to MedSurg and Swing Bed Unit
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of ER experience
- Previous MedSurg experience required
- Strong telemetry interpretation skills
- Comfortable managing vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and High Flow equipment without RT support
- Must be flexible working Day/Night rotating shifts
Required Certifications
- ACLS
- BLS
- NIHSS
- TNCC
- PALS preferred
Shift & Scheduling
- Rotating shifts: 7A–7P / 7P–7A
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday coverage required if it falls within scheduled rotation
