- Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Associate of Science in Nursing
Description
Unit: PICU
Experience Required: 2 years of PICU experience – most preferred candidate is cross trained and able to float to Adult ICU, Med/Tele.
Traveler will be required to PASS an EKG competency exam as part of compliance, prior to arrival (includes MedSurg RN).
PIV skills, CVL, telemetry, wound care, drains, wound vacs
Comfortability with titrating: Pressors, Insulin, Heparin, Sedation agents, Pain med drips
Certs Required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, NRP preffered.
Travel Exp: 2 years of perm staff RN experience in acute care
License Required: Active LA/Comp License for submission.
Patient Ratios: 1:1-2
Patient Types: Respiratory failure, Spesis, ETOH/IVDA, GI related dx, OB, Surgical ICU, DKA. No CRRT, ECMO, or CathLab.
Floating: PCU (1:3-4), MS (1:5-6); ER Hold (MedSurg 1:4; PCU 1:3-4)

Rates are not always the best, would be nice to have a few more eastern and southern state options, like Mississippi or North Carolina cities
