Occupational Therapist (OT) – Inpatient Behavioral Health/Pediatrics

Shift: Primarily 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
(Some schedule flexibility required)

Schedule Requirements:

• Possible Saturday coverage with a weekday off
• Possible Labor Day holiday coverage

Job Details:

Seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join the multidisciplinary rehab team at Cambridge Hospital. The OT will provide evaluations, group therapy, and individual treatments within the inpatient adult behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities:

• Complete Occupational Therapy evaluations
• Conduct group therapy sessions
• Provide individual OT treatments
• Work with patients with:
  • Neurodevelopmental diagnoses
  • Psychiatric/behavioral health diagnoses
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams in an inpatient setting

Required Experience:

• Minimum 1–2 years of Occupational Therapy experience
• Must have inpatient pediatric and/or mental health experience
• Inpatient behavioral health experience strongly preferred
• Travel experience highly preferred
  • Candidates without travel experience must have strong related inpatient behavioral health experience

Required Qualifications:

• BS/MS/OTD in Occupational Therapy
• Active Massachusetts OT License
• AHA BLS Certification required

Preferred:

• EPIC EMR experience

Ideal candidate should be comfortable working in an inpatient behavioral health environment and providing both group and individual therapy services to complex patient populations.
