Key Responsibilities:

• Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in line with the state Board of Nursing standards.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Monitor ongoing health data to evaluate patient progress.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.
• Provide supportive and restorative therapy, either directly or through team collaboration.
• Execute delegated medical functions with precision.
• Refer patients for further evaluation or treatment as needed.
• Review and monitor therapy and care plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document all care activities following regulatory guidelines.
• Utilize resources effectively to support patient recovery and well-being.
• Promote the healthcare facility’s mission, values, and service standards.
• Adapt to float to other departments within scope as necessary.
• Be available for on-call duties during scheduled shifts.

Required Skills:

• Valid state RN license.
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required; BSN preferred).
• BLS certification; ACLS and NIH credentials are desirable.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to perform both independent and delegated nursing duties efficiently.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Prior experience in an acute care setting, especially in a PCU or Stepdown unit.
• Additional certifications, such as TNCC.

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is highly preferred.
• Previous RN experience in a hospital or similar clinical environment.

• Ability to work flexible schedules and be on-call if needed.
• Physical ability to perform patient care activities.
