Travel Pediatric Echocardiography Technologist – Flushing, NY

Start Date: 6/29

Assignment Length: 9 Weeks

Gross Pay: $3,414/week

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00a–5:00p

A leading cardiac care facility in Flushing, NY is seeking an experienced Pediatric Echo Tech for a 9‑week travel assignment. This role is ideal for a tech with strong pediatric experience who can independently perform high‑quality echocardiograms in a busy MFM and pediatric cardiology environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED plus completion of an approved Echocardiogram Training Program
• MUST have Pediatric Echocardiography experience
• CCI or ARDMS (Echo) certification
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Echo Tech
• BLS Certification
• Strong knowledge of echocardiogram equipment, procedures, and supplies
• Basic clerical and documentation skills
• Ability to identify equipment issues and resolve or escalate appropriately
• Must recognize patient concerns and know when to call for clinical assistance

Job Duties

• Perform high‑quality pediatric and OB/GYN echocardiograms
• Support cardiologists and clinical teams with accurate imaging and timely workflow
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper exam preparation
• Recognize abnormal findings and escalate per protocol
• Maintain equipment readiness and report malfunctions
• Complete documentation and clerical tasks as required
