Description
Position Overview
Surgical Assistant role available for qualified candidates. Travel experience preferred, with minimum 1 year of experience required.
Key Position Details
- Schedule: 10 HR Days
- Location: Locals Accepted (52/hr local rate)
- Setting: Hospital setting experience required
- Experience Required: Minimum 1 year
- Preferred Background: Travel experience

Call Requirements
- 2-3 weekday overnight call shifts per 6-week period
- 2-3 weekend overnight call shifts per 6-week period
- Some short shifts required
- Holiday call required
Unit Information
- Capacity: 11 beds
- Focus: Heavy orthopedic caseload
Required Certifications
- BLS (Current)
- Certified Surgical Assistant from one of the following:
- CSA - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
- National Surgical Assistant Association (NSAA)
- National Commission for the Certification of Surgical Assistants (NCCSA)
