Job Title

Therapist - Occupational Therapist

Location

Topeka, KS

Schedule / Job Type

Full-time, day shifts, 40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

Evaluate patients’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide hands-on therapy in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
Document patient progress and maintain accurate treatment records.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals including physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and nurses.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on techniques to support continued care and safety.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal healthcare regulations.

Required Qualifications

Current Occupational Therapist license in Kansas.
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
BLS certification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience working in a healthcare facility or outpatient setting.
Knowledge of current therapy practices and protocols.
