Travel CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) – Heart Team

🗓️ Schedule & Contract Details
- Shift: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday
- Hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (10-hour shifts)
- Call:
- Thursdays (rotational call day)
- Rotating weekend call required
- Duration: 13 weeks
🏥 Facility & Unit Overview
- Unit: Heart Team – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
- EMR: Meditech
Team Structure:
- 1 patient per case
- Supported by 2 RNs + 2 surgical techs
- Collaborative, high-acuity surgical environment
🔧 Key Responsibilities
- Circulate in cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Assist surgical team in maintaining sterile field and patient safety
- Participate in on-call rotation for CV surgery cases
- Ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced OR setting

- CABG (Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting)
- Femoral-Popliteal Bypass
- Carotid Endarterectomy
- Valve Repairs/Replacements
- Thoracotomy
✅ Requirements (Must Have)
- Active RN License
- CVOR / Cardiovascular Surgery experience
- Operating Room (OR) experience
- BLS & ACLS certifications
⭐ Preferred
- Strong background in open heart surgery cases
- Previous travel experience (a plus, not required)
