Description
Ideal candidates are professional, dependable, calm under pressure, and able to maintain clear boundaries while providing quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1- 2 years of experience, preferably in a corrections settings
- BLS (AHA)
- Active TX/Compact license - no hits
- Ability to work in a secure corrections environment
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and de-escalation skills
Responsibilities:
• Medication administration and pass
• Intake screenings and health assessments
• Monitoring chronic conditions and sick call requests
• Assisting with emergency response and basic treatments
• Accurate charting and documentation
• Collaborating with RNs, providers, and correctional staff
