Description

Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) RN – Travel Assignment

Requirements:

Must live at least 50 miles from the facility

Schedule:

7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
5 x 8-hour shifts
Call requirement: ~1 day per week + 1 weekend per month

Experience Required:

Minimum 1 year experience in electrophysiology (EP) diagnostic and therapeutic studies
Must have experience with cardiac monitoring procedures
Knowledge of Micropace preferred
Willingness to assist in staff education at McAllen Heart Hospital

Licensure & Certifications:

Current RN license in state/district – Required
NIHSS – Required
BLS – Required
ACLS – Required
Graduate of accredited or NLN-approved RN program – Required
BSN – Highly desired
Recent acute care experience – Required

Unit Focus:

Electrophysiology lab / cardiac diagnostics and interventional procedures
Supporting EP studies and cardiac rhythm management procedures
