Cardiovascular Technologist – Cath Lab
6:30am-5:00pm - 40 hours/week
Responsibilities
- Imaging procedures: Perform interventional cardiac and vascular exams under physician direction
- Patient preparation: Prepare, monitor, and position patients based on imaging orders
- Sterile technique: Maintain strict sterile field and infection control standards
- Equipment operation: Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot cath lab equipment
- Safety compliance: Follow all departmental and regulatory safety protocols
- Data accuracy: Capture and provide high-quality imaging for physician interpretation
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in cath lab setting as a Cardiovascular Technologist
- Certifications (one required):
- ARRT (Radiography)
- AR (Radiographer)
- RCES
- RCIS
- RDCS
- Licensure: Active upon hire
- BLS: Within 90 days
- ACLS: Within 6 months
