Job Summary:

Akron Campus is seeking an experienced MS/Telemetry Registered Nurse for a night shift travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have strong Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience, excellent cardiac monitoring skills, and the ability to float as needed within the facility.
 

Requirements:

• Minimum 2+ years of recent RN experience required
• Recent MS/Telemetry experience required
• Active RN License
• ACLS Certification required
• BLS Certification required
• NIH Certification required
• Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months required
• ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing degree required
• Float required

Assignment Details:

• Must be comfortable working night shift
• Solid black scrubs required
• Block schedules considered on a case-by-case basis
• Maximum 7 days RTO accepted
• No RTO allowed during first two weeks of assignment

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for Medical-Surgical and Telemetry patients
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely
• Maintain accurate documentation utilizing Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Respond effectively during emergencies and rapid response situations
