Position Overview

• Specialty: CVOR RN
• Cardiac call required
• First-time travelers accepted

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of direct CVOR experience required
• Scrub experience required, as candidate will be expected to work in a scrub capacity
• Must have experience in Cardiac OR
• Candidate must be able to quickly adapt to department setup and begin taking call
• Will assist with additional surgical cases when no CVOR cases are scheduled

Required Certifications

• AHA or American Red Cross BLS required at time of submission
• ACLS required at time of submission
• NIHSS required prior to start date

Call Requirements

• Cardiac call required
• Approximately 6 minimum call shifts per month:
  • 1 weekday shift
  • 2 weekend shifts
• Weekend call shifts are 24-hour shifts
• Call requirements may increase up to 10 shifts per month during staffing shortages

Floating Requirements

• Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs

Scheduling Information

• Block scheduling not available
• Guaranteed Hours:
  • 36 hours/week for 3x12 schedules
  • 40 hours/week for 8/10-hour schedules

Local Candidate Policy

• Local candidates accepted at same rate

Licensing Information

• Pending licenses not accepted

RTO Requirements

• All RTO must be included at the time of submission
• RTO added after submission will likely not be approved

Additional Facility Requirements

• Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be completed immediately once confirmed for assignment
• Smoke-free facility:
  • All travelers must be nicotine-free
  • No exceptions
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) screening required
