Registered Nurse – Med Surg

Location: Winchester, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit & Facility Overview

Medical Surgical unit with 44 beds
Level II Trauma center
Patient population: all ages
Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 6 patients
Electronic Health Record system: Meditech
Call requirement: As needed; must arrive within 30 minutes to 1 hour if called in
Float requirements: As needed

Role: Registered Nurse (RN)

Dress code: Scrubs of any color; no casual wear or hoodies

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee
Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays
Must be located 60 miles or more from the facility to qualify as a traveler
