Key Job Details

• Shift: Rotating Days & Nights
  • Days: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
  • Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Expect 3 weeks days + 3 weeks nights in a 6-week schedule (depends on unit needs)
• Schedule: 3x12s (36 hrs/week)
• Contract Length: 91 days (13 weeks)
• Weekend: Every other weekend required
• Float: Required
• Locals: Not allowed (must live outside 50 miles)

Ratios

• Days: 1:5
• Nights: 1:6

Required Credentials

• PA RN license or Compact in hand
• BLS American Heart Association
• ACLS American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years RN experience

Experience / Skills Needed

This is a high-acuity tele/stepdown assignment. Need comfort with:

• Telemetry interpretation
• Cardiac drips (including titration)
• Insulin drips
• BiPAP / CPAP / HFNC
• Post-cath / post-MI patients
• Heparin protocols
• Central lines / PICC / Ports
• Stroke / CVA patients
• Pre/Post hemodialysis
• Respiratory & cardiac intermediate-care patients

Unit Details

• 36-bed telemetry unit
• Adults & geriatrics
• Will take most patients except ventilators and patients on BP support drips
• Support available:
  • PT
  • Respiratory

  • Phlebotomy
  • Rapid Response
  • Social Services
  • Unit Secretary
