Description

Position Details

  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Shift: 4x10-hour shifts
  • Shift Hours: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Daily Caseload: Approximately 20–30 cases per tech
  • First-Time Travelers Accepted: Yes

Required Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience required
  • Vascular experience required
  • Required IR experience includes:
    • Stroke thrombectomy
    • Neurointerventions
    • PE thrombectomy & thrombolysis
    • DVT interventions
    • Pain management procedures
    • Oncology procedures including:
      • Y-90
      • MAAs
      • Chemoembolizations

Required Skills

  • PACS experience required
  • Contrast administration skills required
  • Biopsy experience required
  • Experience required with:
    • Stents
    • Ablations
    • Angioplasty
    • Angiograms
    • Nephograms
    • Kyphoplasty
    • Peripheral procedures
    • Upper and lower extremity studies
    • Abdominal and pelvic studies
    • Vascular studies
    • Neurological studies

Required Certifications & Licensure

  • BLS required
  • ARRT certification required
  • Florida license required
  • COVID-19 Vaccine: Required – Medical/Religious Exemptions Only
  • Cerner EMR experience

Schedule & Call Requirements

  • Weekend requirement: Yes
  • On-call required:
    • 8–10 call days per month depending on staffing
    • One Saturday workday per month
  • Call response time:
    • Must arrive at hospital within 30 minutes
  • On-call sleep rooms available

Floating Requirements

  • May float within scope to meet facility needs
  • No floating to sister facilities required

Scheduling Information

  • Block scheduling may be discussed during interview if applicable
  • No RTO permitted during contract
  • Guaranteed hours apply after first call-off per pay period

  • 4 procedure rooms
  • 3 rooms equipped with biplane systems
  • Equipment includes:
    • 3 Siemens systems
    • 1 GE system
