Call Requirements: None
Required Certifications: BLS, NRP and ACLS (must be from American Heart Association), AWHONN (must be renewed every 2 years)

Unit Information:
Number of Beds: 17 with 2 triage rooms
Patient Ratios: AWHONN standards /
75 deliveries on unit monthly
Equipment: Fetal Monitors, ISTAT and Freestyle
EHR: Cerner and Fetalink
Patient Population e.g. geriatric, adult, peds, etc. : Adult and newborn
Hiring Profile:
Must Have Skills/Experience: Labor and delivery experience for labor positions. All need postpartum couplet care experience. Nursery experience in a level 2 nursery or higher acuity for SCN positions.
Preferred Skillset/Experience: Fetal Monitoring, stabilization of a neonate, trouble shooting high acuity situations and good triage assessment skills
Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Labor, GDM, Hypertension, IUGR, Macrosomia, Drug use in pregnancy
