Description

Requirements

✅ Active California RN License (must be active at submission)
✅ Minimum 2 years Oncology RN experience

✅ BLS Certification (AHA or ARC)
✅ ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification – Required
✅ Epic EMR experience – Required

Assignment Details

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Day Shift – 4×10s
Hours: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biotherapy, and IV infusions per provider orders and ONS standards
Access, manage, and maintain central lines, ports, PICCs, and peripheral IVs
Monitor patients for adverse reactions, oncologic emergencies, and infusion‑related complications
Recognize and manage extravasation, anaphylaxis, sepsis, tumor lysis syndrome, and hemorrhage
Perform pre‑infusion assessments, medication reconciliation, and lab review
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, side effects, and symptom management
