Description

✅ Active Texas Pharmacist License (TX LIC)
✅ PharmD degree
✅ Minimum 1 year hospital/inpatient pharmacy experience
✅ At least some pediatric exposure required
✅ Epic EMR experience required
🚫 Retail‑only pharmacy backgrounds will not be considered
Assignment Details
- Contract Length: 26 weeks
- Schedule: 7 On / 7 Off
- Shift: Night Shift
- Hours: 8:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Shift Options: 3×10s or 4×10s (block scheduling required)
Key Responsibilities
- Verify and dispense medications in an acute inpatient hospital setting
- Prepare and compound sterile IV medications, including antibiotics, TPN, and high‑alert drugs
- Support pediatric and neonatal medication dosing, monitoring, and safety
- Manage pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing, anticoagulation, and therapeutic drug monitoring
- Utilize Pyxis and Epic EMR for medication management and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize pharmacotherapy
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
