Description

Requirements (HARD STOPS)

✅ ASCP‑PA Certification – Required
✅ Minimum 3 years Pathologists Assistant experience
✅ Hospital clinical laboratory experience required
✅ Travel experience required
✅ Epic EMR experience required

Assignment Details

Contract Length: 16 weeks
Schedule: Day Shift – Monday to Friday
Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Key Responsibilities

Perform gross examination and dissection of large, complex surgical specimens and small biopsies
Prepare tissues for histological processing, including sectioning and specimen fixation
Accurately perform specimen receipt, labeling, and handling
Conduct tumor triage and obtain/review patient clinical information (labs, imaging, reports)
Assist with adult and fetal autopsies, including evisceration and tissue sampling
Document macroscopic descriptions of anatomic features clearly and accurately
