Day 4x10-Hour (06:15 - 16:45)is the shift for this role. The Job Description: Radiology/Radiation Therapist Shift: M-F 10 hr shifts 615-1645 rotating days off in Brachytherapy department. Procedures HDR treatments and radiopharmaceutical administrations. Opportunity to cross-train in proton external beam simulation and pick up OT shifts. No weekends no holidays. No previous brachytherapy experience required. Will require passing of NRC Radiation safety exam within first 2 weeks of contract exam materials provided. Daily Caseload: 8 -15 patients Years of experience REQ: 1 First-timers accepted: Yes CERTS: BLS ARRT ARRT T Weekend REQ: No Is on-call REQ? No Floating Req to Sister Facilities: Y/N: No Open to accommodating block schedule? No Locals accepted: No. What is the local radius rule? 75 miles Pending State License accepted: Y/N Yes RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs. Special Requirements: - This individual will work in brachytherapy and will be expected to run HDR units assist in brachytherapy implants and administer radiopharmaceuticals as directed by AU/AMP. Sensitivity training highly preferred. Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care Teaching / Level Trauma Total Staffed Beds: 1266 Scrub Color: not provided. no particular scrub color required. Charting: EPIC Parking Cost: Specific Parking instructions and location vary by specialty. Please refer to FDI for specific location. Rates are below and are the same for all travellers. • Parking is 67/month for Rotating and Day shift • There are also public transportation options if you prefer Metro link rail or bus.
