Position Details
- Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab
- Shift: 4 x 10-hour day shifts (0700–1730)
- Call Requirements:
- Weekday call: 1730–2100
- Weekend call: 0700–2100
- Up to 8 call shifts per month
- 30-minute maximum response time
- Employment Type: Inpatient / Acute Care
Job Summary
The RN is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered care by utilizing the nursing process in accordance with hospital policies, unit guidelines, and professional standards. This includes continuous assessment, care planning, intervention, evaluation, and patient education.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with established protocols
- Prioritize and organize patient care based on acuity and unit needs
- Document all aspects of the nursing process accurately and timely in the medical record
- Monitor patient progress and respond appropriately to changes in condition
- Provide patient education and discharge planning
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Delegate tasks appropriately and communicate effectively with staff
- Participate in quality improvement (PI) and educational activities
- Complete variance reports and support hospital compliance standards
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 0–6 months of related nursing experience
- RN License: Active multi-state or Oklahoma Registered Nurse license required
- Certifications Required:
- BLS
- ACLS
- NIHSS
- Education:
- Completion of an accredited nursing program (diploma, ADN, or BSN eligible)
