Position Details

  • Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Cath Lab
  • Shift: 4 x 10-hour day shifts (0700–1730)
  • Call Requirements:
    • Weekday call: 1730–2100
    • Weekend call: 0700–2100
    • Up to 8 call shifts per month
    • 30-minute maximum response time
  • Employment Type: Inpatient / Acute Care

Job Summary

The RN is responsible for delivering safe, effective, and patient-centered care by utilizing the nursing process in accordance with hospital policies, unit guidelines, and professional standards. This includes continuous assessment, care planning, intervention, evaluation, and patient education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Deliver direct nursing care in accordance with established protocols
  • Prioritize and organize patient care based on acuity and unit needs
  • Document all aspects of the nursing process accurately and timely in the medical record
  • Monitor patient progress and respond appropriately to changes in condition
  • Provide patient education and discharge planning
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Delegate tasks appropriately and communicate effectively with staff
  • Participate in quality improvement (PI) and educational activities
  • Complete variance reports and support hospital compliance standards

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 0–6 months of related nursing experience
  • RN License: Active multi-state or Oklahoma Registered Nurse license required
  • Certifications Required:
    • BLS
    • ACLS
    • NIHSS
  • Education:
    • Completion of an accredited nursing program (diploma, ADN, or BSN eligible)
