Description
Job Title: Sterile Processing Technician (SPT)
Location: Towson, MD
Shift: Evening Shift | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Schedule: 40 Hours Guaranteed
Responsibilities:
• Decontaminate, inspect, assemble, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and medical equipment
• Maintain proper storage and handling of sterile supplies and processed equipment
• Assist with instrument preparation and surgical case support for OR procedures
• Follow infection control, sterilization, and patient safety standards
• Support Sterile Processing Specialists with departmental workflows and team lead responsibilities
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with hospital protocols
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years of current Sterile Processing Technician experience required
• Active HSPA Certification required for at least 2 years
• Previous travel experience required
• Active AHA BLS Certification required
• COVID Vaccine required (declinations not accepted)
• Acute care hospital experience preferred
