PACU RN – Long Term Assignment (LTA)

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (RN) for a long-term assignment at Akron Campus. The ideal candidate will have strong post-anesthesia care experience, recent Epic EMR usage, and phlebotomy skills. This is a weekday day-shift opportunity with no weekends or on-call requirements.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to post-anesthesia patients in the PACU setting
• Monitor patient recovery and assess vital signs following surgical procedures
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary teams
• Perform phlebotomy procedures as required
• Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and patient safety standards

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2+ years of recent PACU RN experience
• Minimum 1+ year of recent phlebotomy experience
• Recent Epic EMR experience within the last 12 months (must be clearly listed on resume)
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program approved by ACEN or CCNE
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification

Additional Requirements

• Maximum of 7 days RTO (Requests exceeding this limit will result in automatic rejection)
• Candidate availability for interview must be included at submission
• Must successfully complete all required onboarding, competency exams, and compliance documentation
