Description

Job Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing advanced endoscopy procedures
Assist physicians during endoscopic and minor diagnostic procedures
Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures
Administer medications, IV infusions, and moderate sedation as ordered
Perform pre-op and recovery nursing assessments and interventions
Document patient care, treatments, and responses accurately
Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of RN Endoscopy experience required
Experience with:
- Moderate Sedation
- Pre-Op & Recovery
- Advanced Endoscopy procedures
Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License (eNLC)
BLS Certification – AHA
ACLS Certification – AHA
Associate Degree in Nursing required
BSN preferred

Skills:

Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and patient care abilities
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced procedural environment
Knowledge of endoscopy nursing standards and patient safety protocols
