Description
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing advanced endoscopy procedures
- Assist physicians during endoscopic and minor diagnostic procedures
- Monitor patient condition before, during, and after procedures
- Administer medications, IV infusions, and moderate sedation as ordered
- Perform pre-op and recovery nursing assessments and interventions
- Document patient care, treatments, and responses accurately
- Educate patients and families regarding procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of RN Endoscopy experience required
- Experience with:
- Moderate Sedation
- Pre-Op & Recovery
- Advanced Endoscopy procedures
- Active Oklahoma RN License or Compact RN License (eNLC)
- BLS Certification – AHA
- ACLS Certification – AHA
- Associate Degree in Nursing required
- BSN preferred
Skills:
- Strong clinical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient care abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced procedural environment
- Knowledge of endoscopy nursing standards and patient safety protocols
