Travel Medical Lab Scientist (MLS) – Hematology/Chemistry | Kansas City, KS
Location: Kansas City, KS 66160
Shift: 8-Hour Evenings | Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
We are seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) for a travel opportunity in Kansas City, KS. The ideal candidate will have strong Hematology and Chemistry experience and be comfortable floating as needed.
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist
• Strong Chemistry experience required
• Active ASCP MLS Certification required
• Floating required
• No new graduates accepted
Preferred Experience:
Experience with the following instruments:
• Beckman automation line
• AU 5800 / AU 680
• DxH 900 / DxH 800
• DxI 800
• Cobas e801
• TOP720
• ABL 825 FLEX
• Iris Velocity / Iris iQ200
Software Experience Preferred:
• Beaker
• AMS
Additional Details:
• Weekend and holiday requirements based on unit needs
• No on-call requirements
• Orientation held Monday & Tuesday of start week from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Credentials due one week prior to start date
• Nicotine-free facility
Important Notes:
• Time-off requests during the World Cup timeframe (June 11 – July 19) should be minimal, as approval may be limited
• Client may cancel up to 2 shifts per month with a minimum 2-hour notice
• 8-hour orientation is non-billable
