Travel Radiation Therapist – Monday–Friday Days | Level I Academic Hospital

Job Overview

  • Specialty: Radiation Therapist
  • Schedule: 5x8 Day Shift (Monday–Friday)
  • Shift: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Start Date: 7/6
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Setting: Acute Care / Radiation Oncology

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver prescribed radiation therapy treatments with precision and safety
  • Verify patient identity, setup, and treatment plans
  • Perform daily treatment delivery and monitoring
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on radiation equipment and treatment plans
  • Create/customize immobilization devices for accurate positioning
  • Support patient education and monitor for treatment reactions
  • Collaborate with Radiation Oncology team members

  • Monday–Friday day schedule
  • 40 guaranteed hours
  • Overtime possible after 40 hours
  • Standard holiday expectations may apply
