Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time | Hourly | Non-Exempt
📍 Location: New Mexico
🏥 Setting: Skilled Nursing / Long-Term Care
🎯 Additional Incentive:
- $200 Mileage Bonus per pay period for staff traveling 40 miles roundtrip
- Bonus applies if no shifts are missed during the pay period
Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct patient care and supervise daily nursing activities. This role ensures high-quality care delivery while maintaining compliance with state, federal, and facility guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents and oversee LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and families
- Ensure accurate charting, documentation, and care plan adherence
- Supervise staff assignments and ensure quality care standards are met
- Participate in admissions, discharges, and care transitions
- Maintain compliance with CMS regulations and facility policies
- Assist with QAPI initiatives and participate in surveys/inspections
- Respond to incidents and complete required reports
Clinical Duties
- Perform assessments and monitor resident status
- Administer treatments (wound care, catheterization, etc.)
- Collect specimens and record vital signs
- Ensure adherence to care plans and resident rights
- Maintain infection control and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in New Mexico
- Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong clinical, leadership, and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of medication administration standards and regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Requirements
- Nursing degree from an accredited program
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Must pass background check, drug screening, and license verification
