🕒 Shift: Primarily weekdays 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM and 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM with on-call responsibilities based on unit needs

Job Summary:
 

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac OR RNFA to join a high-acuity surgical team at a Level 4 Cardiac OR unit. The RNFA will work closely with surgeons and the perioperative team to provide direct patient care before, during, and after cardiac surgical procedures.
 

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during complex cardiac surgical procedures
• Provide perioperative nursing care in the operating room
• Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety standards
• Monitor patient condition throughout surgical procedures
• Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams
• Participate in on-call rotation based on department needs
• Document patient care accurately and timely
• Utilize telemetry monitoring when required

Mandatory Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac RNFA experience
• Active NYS RN License
• Current AHA BLS Certification
• Current AHA ACLS Certification
• CNOR Certification required
• Telemetry experience required

Preferred Skills:

• Strong cardiac surgery background
• Experience in high-acuity OR settings
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
