Description
Position: Registered Nurse – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
Start Date: June 26, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night, 3x12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30)
Location: Cleveland, OH 44195
Requirements
- Licensure: Permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand
- Experience:
- Minimum 18 months of permanent experience in specialty prior to travel assignments
- Minimum 18 months of recent pediatric experience (travel experience acceptable)
- Experience in epilepsy monitoring and specialized care for patients up to 25 years of age
- Certifications:
- AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS (required)
- NIHSS (preferred)
- ECG rhythm recognition and inotropes competency required
- Vaccinations:
- COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients in the PICU
- Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, administer inotropes, and manage complex patient conditions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Participate in epilepsy monitoring and specialized pediatric care protocols
- Complete orientation assessments: ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate (acceptable scores required)
- Work every other holiday as part of the assignment schedule
